We are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a fantastic young people-focused local charity. Due to their continued success and further growth requirements, they are looking for a Partnerships Manager.
THE ROLE:
The perfect candidate will enjoy forging positive and robust relationships with potential educational and business partners across South Yorkshire, the surrounding areas, and the charity's footprint.
1. Lead and oversee new business activity (strategic, COTY, and commercial partnerships).
2. Develop relationships with prospective partners.
3. Manage the growth of the charity's business club.
4. Develop tailored approaches, creative pitches, and proposals to secure partnerships.
5. Steward relationships with key decision-makers, demonstrating excellent communication skills and integrity, liaising with Directors/CEOs, CSR Managers, and executives to deliver partnership objectives.
6. Use a relationship-led approach to build the new business pipeline.
7. Manage and coordinate corporate events.
8. Line manage staff, leading recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
9. Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure PR and media objectives related to corporate and grant fundraising are met.
THE CANDIDATE:
You will have proven experience supporting partnerships in the charitable or corporate sector. You should be skilled in building successful, mutually beneficial relationships, working towards financial targets, and crafting engaging communications.
1. Experience in a corporate partnership or business development role, or relevant transferable skills.
2. Experience of working towards and achieving financial or non-financial targets and KPIs.
3. Ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
4. Proven success in securing high-value, multi-year partnerships.
5. Experience in negotiating, influencing, and creating partnership agreements.
6. Leadership experience, including motivating and managing teams.
7. Ability to forecast and manage budgets to meet income targets.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
10. Event management experience.
11. People development experience.
12. Strong planning, prioritising, and deadline management skills.
THE BENEFITS:
Salary: up to £35,000 D.O.E.
