TEA ROOM MANAGER
Organisation Overview:
The Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary is a registered charity based in South Cornwall, UK. Founded in 1995, our sanctuary site now provides a safe home for life to over 100 donkeys, horses and ponies (primarily donkeys), all of whom have been rescued from situations of abuse, neglect and abandonment.
Job Summary:
This role requires a passionate, hard-working individual to work as part of a small team managing the Tea Bray'k Tea Room at our sanctuary. A full-time, permanent role requiring a dedicated team player who understands, and can work with, Flicka's aims and ethos. 32 hours per week with some flexibility as long as full time.
More information:
We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking manager to lead the sanctuary's Tea Room into the future. The Tea Bray'k Tea Room is a vital part of the charity, providing a core income stream to the charity and setting the ethos for visitors who support our much-loved sanctuary. We require a leader who can meet the challenge of creating a destination vegan café, with an exciting and innovative menu, preparing high quality products, served with excellent customer care. This is a real opportunity for a Manager to put their own stamp onto a café which has huge potential for development.
If you work in hospitality, in a restaurant, a tea room, a café or a pub and you are looking for more responsibility and a leadership role, please consider this post. The work has the benefit of daytime working only, and the working environment of this charity is wholly friendly and supportive.
