Electronic Test & Service Technician
Location: Hunmanby, North Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
Job type: Full-time, permanent
The Role
Electronic Test & Service Technician required to carry out bench-based testing, fault-finding, servicing, calibration, and repair of electronic products within a controlled workshop environment.
This is a specialist role. Full product training will be provided, so candidates with strong transferable electronic experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Test, fault-find, service, repair, and calibrate electronic products
* Carry out bench testing and functional checks to written procedures
* Solder and rework electronic components as required
* Complete service records and job documentation accurately
* Identify faults and repair requirements during testing
* Maintain quality standards and attention to detail
About You
* Background in electronic test, repair, service / fault finding
* Confident fault-finding on electronic circuits or PCBs
* Comfortable soldering, including basic rework (training available if needed)
* Able to follow technical procedures and work methodically
* Electronic qualifications desirable but not essential
