We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Specialist based in the Loughborough area. The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £45,000 with OTE of circa £50,000 and working hours of either Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm, or a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 6am – 6pm. Duties: Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department Completion of MOT preparation Requirements: Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles. Industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQs). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. IRTEC accreditation (desirable) EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO). Welding certification (desirable) Experience with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST). Tail lift & double-deck maintenance experience.
