Apprentice Chef Position at Premium Country Pubs

Responsibilities:
1. Be a champion of brand standards
2. Prepare everything needed before a busy shift
3. Cook to specification and work with recipes
No prior experience is necessary—we will teach you everything! If you're eager to learn and proud to work with us, we will show you what it takes to become a vital team member in any kitchen.
You will take on a full-time role under the supervision of passionate chefs and receive training that includes a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship. Support the operation of our kitchens and create memorable moments, ensuring quality for our guests!
What Your Apprenticeship Includes:
* Regular face-to-face and virtual catch-ups every 4-6 weeks
* On and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
* Reviews every 12 weeks with your Apprentice mentor, Line Manager, and Trainer
* Feedback sessions to discuss your progress
* Support to obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths (if needed)
* 30 hours paid work per week

Wage rates:
* 16-20 year olds: £8.60/hour
* 21+ year olds: £11.44/hour
At Mitchells and Butlers, you will work towards a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship over 15 months.
