JOB TITLE: Support Worker - Learning Disability

Beechway House is a supported living accommodation providing care and support for 16 adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities. It is situated in the Waterside area of Derry - Londonderry. Beechway House offers 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and participate in daily decision-making.
Essential Criteria
* QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent
* 6 months experience in a formal or informal care/support role* and previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities/mental health issues. Must be registered with NISCC or achieve registration within 6 months if new to the sector.
* Alternatively, 1 year experience in a formal or informal care/support role* with similar experience requirements. Must be registered with NISCC or achieve registration within 6 months if new to the sector.
* Willing to work towards relevant qualifications.
*Informal care/support may include caring at home or voluntary work.
This is a regulated position and is subject to a satisfactory Access NI check.
