Property Portfolio Manager – Bath

Our lovely client is looking for a Property Portfolio Manager based in Bath. In this role, you will take the lead in growing and developing their property portfolio to provide high-quality supported accommodation for those who need it most. You will work closely with landlords, developers, and the dedicated service teams to source and secure properties that give the clients a stable, affordable and suitable place to live.
You will be required to travel across surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
·Lead on search and acquisition of new properties in line with the service needs; including responding at pace when a gap arises in our provision, to avoid service disruption.
·Negotiate the best leasing contracts for the client.
·Undertake market research in sports of bid development for new accommodations-based services.
·Work closely with internal staff to deliver joined up on boarding, off boarding and development projects.
·Build the existing industry profile as a positive, credible partner to landlords, Registered Providers and local authorities, in order to help develop new housing partnerships.
Required Experience:
·Good planning and project management skills
·Strong influencing, communication and problem-solving skills
·Experience of on-boarding and 0ff-boarding properties
·Knowledge and expertise of the housing sector, with a track record of successfully securing commercial and domestic properties through leasing and purchasing.
·Excellent relationship building and management skills
·Membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing
·A full UK drivers’ licence and access to a car.
