Job Purpose
To support senior staff in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in line with Cedar Care’s vision of creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where residents feel secure, valued, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver compassionate, person-centred care that respects residents’ individual needs, preferences, dignity, and rights.
* Support residents with personal care, daily living activities, nutrition, hydration, and social engagement.
* Comply with CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, the Mental Capacity Act, and organisational policies at all times.
* Accurately complete care records, daily notes, and incident reports in a timely and confidential manner.
* Promote residents’ choice, independence, and involvement in decisions about their care.
* Work collaboratively with nurses, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure safe, effective care delivery.
* Recognise, report, and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, accidents, or changes in residents’ wellbeing.
* Maintain a caring, respectful approach towards residents, relatives, and colleagues, contributing to a positive team culture.
* Participate in handovers, training, and continuous improvement activities to support high standards of care.
