The Roles
We are recruiting for two distinct positions. Both roles focus on the maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of mechanical plant and building services systems.
Role 1: Day Mechanical Engineer - Mon to Fri - 3 week rotating shift times - 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, 10am-7pm.
Role 2: Day Mechanical Engineer - Mon to Fri - 8am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on mechanical systems including pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, and plumbing.
* Respond to Reactive Maintenance calls, diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
* Oversee sub-contractors on-site, ensuring health and safety compliance.
* Maintain accurate digital logs of all works completed via our CAFM system.
* Ensure all mechanical plant rooms are kept in a clean and safe condition.
What We Are Looking For
* Qualifications: Ideally, you hold a Level 2 NVQ / City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing & Heating.
* Experience: Proven experience working within a commercial facilities management or building services environment.
* Mindset: A proactive \"can-do\" attitude with a focus on high-quality service delivery.
* Compliance: A solid understanding of L8 Water Hygiene and general Health & Safety regulations.
