The role
We are looking for an Administrator to work within the Knowledge Management team. This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly team with a wide variety of work. There will be opportunities for progression, and expansion of the role.
You will support the team across the knowledge management and project aspects of our work, as well as supporting the firm's professional support and knowledge lawyers from time to time. Reporting to the Head of Knowledge Management and Digital you will be a valued team member supported by experienced colleagues.
The role is based in the Cambridge office and there may be opportunities to work in the firm's other offices from time to time.
The person
To succeed in this role, you will behighly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strongwritten and verbal communication skills. You'll need to manage your own workload effectively while supporting others, showing flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to learn. Building strong relationships and collaborating well with colleagues is essential.
You should be confident, adaptable under pressure, and committed to delivering high standards. Proficiency inMicrosoft Office applicationsis required, and familiarity withMicrosoft 365 tools(like SharePoint) is a plus. A good educational background and experience managing varied tasks independently are also important.
The activities
* Meeting and event coordination: Scheduling, preparing agendas, booking rooms, arranging equipment and catering.
* Documentation and communication: Drafting documents, taking and circulating meeting notes, and following up on actions.
* Diary and travel management: Assisting with calendars, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
* Team support: Participating in meetings, helping with system testing, and providing ad hoc admin support.
* Content and inbox management: Creating high-quality reports, monitoring shared inboxes, and intranet management.
