Junior Quantity Surveyor - Malcor Fit Out
Malcor Fitout is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Belfast-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 1 year's post-qualification experience who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, high-quality fit-out environment. Working across projects throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, you will gain exposure to commercial, retail and hospitality fit-outs, supporting delivery from pre-construction through to final account.
The Role
Based in our Belfast office, with regular travel to sites North and South of Ireland, you will work closely with our commercial and project teams to ensure strong financial control and project efficiency at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with cost planning and budget preparation
* Supporting tender preparation and subcontract procurement
* Preparing and managing interim valuations
* Monitoring project costs and reporting on variations
* Assisting with subcontractor payments and agreement of final accounts
* Conducting site visits to monitor progress and commercial performance
* Supporting the preparation of CVRs and commercial reporting
The Ideal Candidate
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* Minimum 1 year's post-qualification experience (fit-out or construction preferred)
* Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability
* Excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
* Full driving licence (due to travel requirements)
