Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with production teams to inspect, monitor, and maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
· Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to carry out detailed inspections.
· Identify defects or non-conformity and report them to the appropriate departments.
· Document and maintain detailed records of inspections and test results.
· Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
· Conduct regular audits and checks of the production line to maintain ongoing quality control.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all quality control processes.
· Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or deviations from specifications.
· Proficiency in using inspection tools and measuring equipment.
· Knowledge of quality standards and industry best practices.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
· A proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Qualifications & Knowledge
· Experience within the Quality discipline and in the electronics industry.
· Awareness of BSI requirements for ISO 9001: 2015.
· IPC-A-610 trained.
· Interpret Mechanical Drawings and PCB/Silk Screen layout.
· The ability to hold fast if you identify something not to the set standard.

· Ability to deliver bad news in a way that is taken as positive and constructive feedback on non-compliances.
· Able to work effectively with others towards common objectives.
· Computer literate.
