Role Overview
Lead Oncologist for Upper GI cancers, sharing responsibility for treatment and management of Lung cancer and Mesothelioma with Dr Thippu, Consultant Clinical Oncologist & Affiliated Assistant Professor. The appointee will maintain and enhance multidisciplinary management of patients, increase trial entry and expand services to meet patient needs.
Responsibilities
The appointed consultant will contribute to service improvement programme through:
* Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT)
* Cost Improvement Programme (CIP)
* Implementing evidence‑based new ways of working when necessary
