Role purpose We’re looking for a Senior Change Communications Manager to support our Org and People Change Lead in managing the communication strategy as part of the wider Business Readiness workstream for Polaris, a three-year global finance transformation programme at Flutter Entertainment plc. This role will develop and deliver communication campaigns to help people understand and embrace the changes, engaging stakeholders and teams across the various central functions and brand-led divisions of Flutter. The Communications team plays a pivotal role in achieving the programme’s objective of delivering a future-fit finance organisation, that powers and protects Flutter and its brands through global finance services that are digital, agile and trusted. Accountabilities & responsibilities Support the Change Lead to develop and implement a people focused federated engagement and communication strategy outlining objectives & principles, key messages, target audiences, channels, timelines and measures. Support the Change Lead to develop and deliver communications plans that align to the change plan as well as the overall programme plan. Act as a trusted advisor to programme leadership on change communication. Work closely with Change Lead, People Lead and wider programme leadership to plan, write and cascade communications to their relevant Function and Divisions to keep stakeholders advised and engaged Work with team to gather info, understand needs, align with goals to build communication plans aiding workstream results. Engage with the wider Communications community to plan communication strategies and timing together for optimal impact. Ensure all communications adhere to Flutter Entertainment’s brand guidelines Measure and analyse the effectiveness of communications issued, and make recommendations for continuous improvement Skills & capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to tell compelling stories that engage and encourage the audience providing clarity, context, and motivation Understanding of change communication principles and strategies, particularly in the context of large-scale transformation programmes. Basic understanding of workforce transformation processes. Experience in completing change communication plans within complex organizations, and tailoring messages to a variety of audiences. Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel. High attention to detail and dedication to quality. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Qualifications & experience Significant experience in internal communications or change management roles, with significant experience in a senior role. Experience managing large-scale change communication programmes in a global organisation. Experience of working in workforce transformation projects or people change projects would be preferable Experience working effectively within a matrix model involving multiple contributors to shape materials. Knowledge of the finance or technology sectors is desirable; experience in the betting and gaming industry is a plus. Professional certifications in change management are advantageous. Measure of success Strong awareness and understanding of the relevant aspects of the global finance transformation programme among collaborators and partners. Effective communication that supports change management efforts and promotes adoption of transformation goals. Positive feedback from collaborators on the clarity, timeliness, and relevance of communications. Contribution to the overall success of the global finance transformation programme.
