Hours: 7:15am - 8:15am, Monday to Friday, term time only (TTO).
Start date: 1st September 2026.
Salary: £26,436.80 FTE (equivalent hourly rate £12.71). Actual salary £2,433.96.
St Michael's Prep School is a co‑educational day school with approximately 480 children aged 2‑13, located on 90 acres of land.
Role Summary
We are looking to staff our breakfast club for children before school starts. You will be part of a small team preparing toast, cereal and fruit for children in two separate breakfast clubs: ages 5‑13 and ages 2‑4. You will work 7:00am‑8:15am, weekdays throughout term time, under the guidance of the Wrap Around Care Manager.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the smooth day‑to‑day running of the breakfast club facility.
* Prepare breakfast items such as toast, cereal and fruit for pupils.
* Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of the pupils in your care.
* Communicate confidently with parents.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Early Years Practitioner qualification or suitable recognition for the younger breakfast club.
* Experience or qualifications equivalent to Teaching Assistant, NVQ3 or similar need not be mandatory.
* DBS, references and security checks required.
