Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Writer role based in Southampton. The Writer will be responsible for crafting compelling written content to effectively communicate the organization’s mission, goals, and initiatives. Daily tasks include conducting research to support content creation, developing impactful narratives, proofreading and editing materials, and collaborating with teams to create content aligned with strategic goals. The candidate will contribute to grant proposals, reports, promotional materials, and other essential documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engagement in communication.
Qualifications
* Strong writing, creative writing, and storytelling skills
* Content strategy development and research capabilities
* Experienced in proofreading and editing for clarity and accuracy
* Effective communication and collaboration skills
* Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
* Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
* Proven experience in non‑profit writing or development fields is a plus
* Passion for making a positive social impact through sustainable solutions
