Our client is a well-established and growing mid-sized law firm based in North West London, currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary (Conveyancing) to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a long-standing firm and play a key role in supporting partners and contributing to the continued success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing comprehensive secretarial support to partners on conveyancing matters
* Producing detailed correspondence, instructions to counsel and legal documentation
* Drafting basic licences and legal documents
* Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
* Coordinating property searches and managing related documentation
* Assisting with security documentation and file management
* Maintaining accurate and compliant case files and systems
* Managing pre- and post-completion tasks
* Liaising professionally with clients, solicitors and lenders
* Preparing documentation for exchange and completion
Key Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing is essential
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Fast and accurate typing skills
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
