Business Development Manager - Life Science / Advanced Technology Facilities
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background and network within the Life Science/Advanced Technology Facilities space. The role requires residence within a commutable distance to the Manchester area, and willingness to work in both head office and travel to meet clients and attend events.
Role Responsibilities
* Manage and develop client relationships, identifying new business opportunities within the current client base as well as new business opportunities.
* Develop partnerships within the Life Science/Advanced Technology Facilities sector, offering value-add solutions.
* Formulate and implement account management strategies to ensure business relationships are maintained and developed.
* Work closely with the marketing and social media team to help develop outreach strategy.
* Identify new and existing market trends and develop strategies to take advantage of new market opportunities.
* Work with the bid and estimating teams to deliver high-quality tenders.
* Work closely with the Business Development Director to identify new opportunities within the Advanced Technologies / Bio Life Sciences sectors.
Role Requirements
* A demonstrable track record developing new business, specifically within the Life Science/Advanced Technology Facilities sectors.
* Experience working at a strategic level with a demonstrable track record of new business and account management/development.
* Dynamic and successful track record within the BLS / ATF sectors.
* A strong track record within the sector.
* Based in the North West region and comfortable travelling / attending industry related events.
* A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
