Description
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer focused.
They are accountable for achieving this by:
1. Reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times.
2. Maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service, and retail standards.
3. Contributing to efficiencies through adhering to store/Brand/Company procedures and guidelines.
4. Understanding daily/weekly targets.
5. Ensuring personal awareness of all additional sales avenues, i.e., eventing, Omni, and digital channels.
6. Keeping up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities.
7. Effectively using social media, leveraging opportunities to drive the business, and protect and enhance the Brand image.
8. Delivering the Brand Strategy, ensuring the implementation of an effective local plan.
9. Planning and implementing local marketing and events initiatives aligned with Retailer activity.
10. Delivering excellence in service by ensuring measures are in place to continually and visibly improve service levels, creating a zero consumer complaints mindset and a surprise-and-delight culture.
11. Being an ambassador for the Brand—leading the way to ensure Brand values are represented and brought to life.
12. Managing all refunds and complaints in line with Company guidelines, aiming for mutually satisfactory resolutions, and consulting with the Area Manager when appropriate.
13. Using digital tools to keep knowledge up to date.
14. Delivering a consumer recruitment and retention strategy to grow a loyal consumer base.
15. Developing up-to-date product knowledge to ensure an industry-leading experience and that the product meets consumer needs.
Operations
1. Planning to ensure the delivery of excellent standards at all times (product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, pricing).
2. Reviewing retail standards daily to ensure they are maintained to the required standard.
3. Ensuring deliveries, stock movements, and associated administration are completed within agreed Company timeframes.
4. Ensuring all auditable processes and administration are actioned per Company guidelines and taking corrective action in areas of risk.
5. Fulfilling all information requests accurately and within deadlines.
6. Minimising stock loss by implementing all Company Security Policies and Procedures correctly.
7. Creating and maintaining a safe working environment for consumers, adhering to Company and Retailer Policies and Procedures.
8. Ensuring all health & safety responsibilities and operational activities achieve at least an 'Acceptable' grade during audits.
Commerciality
1. Managing daily replenishment and taking appropriate actions as needed.
2. Maximising sales performance by utilising all commercial reports before making decisions.
3. Planning and delivering visual merchandising layouts according to guidelines and within timescales.
4. Identifying stock package issues and taking corrective actions, informing the Area Manager when necessary.
5. Managing promotions and discounts in line with Company guidelines.
6. Identifying trends and suggesting improvements to enhance product performance.
