As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an essential role in maintaining continuity in the classroom by delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. Cover Supervisor Responsibilities: Deliver pre-set lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies. Support students with their classwork and encourage positive engagement. Maintain a calm, focused, and supportive learning environment. Follow lesson plans, provide feedback to teaching staff, and complete basic reporting tasks. Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Requirements: Previous experience working in a school or youth setting is desirable. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Confident leading groups of students and delivering prepared content. A positive, proactive attitude and ability to adapt to different classroom situations. A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
