Each JoJo store is unique, whether trading over two floors, featuring a quirky layout, or situated in an interesting location. They each have their own character. Our Unique Selling Point (USP) in the ever-changing retail world is the relationship we build with our customers, many of whom are loyal to our brand and local store team. You will be the face of JoJo, providing exceptional customer care and service that we are proud of. Your role will involve guiding, informing, and assisting customers in choosing from our extensive range of clothing and products, whether they are expectant parents, grandparents, or other friends and family.
Our commitment to B Corp principles is fundamental, and every team member upholds them. As we transition into a digital retail environment, offering Omni-Channel customer service is essential to foster customer loyalty.
A peek into your daily adventures:
1. Assisting customers in diverse situations, from bra fitting and maternity wear discussions to demonstrating baby carriers.
2. Preparing and managing Omni-Channel orders.
3. Communicating with customers in-store or via phone regarding their orders.
4. Using digital or virtual learning platforms to enhance your retail knowledge and skills.
5. Learning about new products to increase sales opportunities.
6. Listening actively to customer needs and finding the best solutions for them.
7. Maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
A typical week involves 2 x 6-hour shifts and 1 x 5.5-hour shift, with flexibility required based on store needs.
Skills that make you shine:
* Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
* Proficient IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Ability to acquire and communicate high levels of product knowledge effectively.
* Self-motivated with curiosity for learning new products independently.
* Demonstrating sales ability through active listening, empathy, and understanding customer needs, without hard sales techniques.
* Ability to work harmoniously within a small team.
* Flexibility to work in a retail environment open 7 days a week.
* Attention to detail in store presentation and standards.
