Aspire People are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEMH Careers Advisor to join a supportive school in the B14 area starting September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about guiding students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs toward meaningful education and career pathways.
The Role
* Provide tailored careers guidance for SEMH students
* Support pupils with college, apprenticeship, and employment options
* Deliver one-to-one sessions, workshops, and group activities
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies
* Help students develop confidence, independence, and employability skills
Requirements
* Previous experience in careers advice, guidance, or education
* Knowledge of SEMH needs and strategies for supporting these pupils
* Strong communication, empathy, and motivational skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with staff and external organisations
