What you’ll do:
* Deliver top-notch customer service by resolving technical issues and keeping customers in the loop
* Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity problems, and collaborate with field engineers to fix hardware like routers, switches, and Wi‑Fi APs
* Use tools such as Solarwinds and Extreme XIQ to track down problems
* Manage incidents and request tickets on ServiceNow with precision, escalating to senior engineers when needed
* Assist with hardware and vendor management, ensuring swift resolution of faults
What you’ll need to apply:
* At least 1 years’ support experience in a busy, customer‑focused service desk or NOC environment
* Solid understanding of LAN/WAN technologies
* A networking qualification like CCNA (or working towards it) is a big plus
* Strong communication – clear, calm and customer‑focused
* Flexibility to work in our Solihull office on shift patterns between 7am and 7pm, mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts on a rota basis
* Ability to obtain BPSS, SC, and NPPV3 clearance for this role

* Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (shifts of 7‑3:30 / 9‑5:30 & 10:30‑7)
* A requirement to work weekends on a rota basis but days off given in the week and overtime paid for additional hours
