Shift Maintenance Engineering Lead Telford 12hr days and nights rotation Up to 55k + bonus and generous pension/ holiday and additional package Job Purpose: Due to plant expansion and constant increase in order we are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure machinery downtime remains minimal and proactively improve efficiencies across site. Leading a small team of engineers on shift you will be the go-to engineer issuing work orders, leading small projects and being a champion in continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Perform Reactive, PPM, and Corrective maintenance tasks, closing out Work Orders with detailed feedback on Root Cause and solution via CMMS. Ensure working areas, including workshops, are well maintained and housekeeping standards are maintained. Procurement of engineering spares and consumables where required. Analysing operational issues. Full Understanding of manufacturing processes. Prioritise the maintenance of the operational areas and be prepared to be flexible, and available, in order that company objectives are continuously achieved. Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service. The ability to analyse and resolve maintenance issues under pressure - both alone and as part of a team. Effective communication with other members of the Engineering team, and Production team. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance Routines, and Corrective works. Requirements: Apprentice trained or equivalent in a Electrical engineering discipline. Industrial/ manufacturing experience Experience of PLC fault finding is preferred. Leadership experience - man-management, projects etc...
