Happy Energy Solutions Ltd (HESL) is looking for a driven and detail-focused Retrofit Sub-Contractor Manager to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for managing the performance, compliance, and relationships of subcontracted installers delivering energy efficiency measures as part of our retrofit programmes.

What you'll be Doing
* Act as the main point of contact for sub-contractors, supporting the successful delivery of energy efficiency retrofit projects
* Hold weekly meetings with subcontractors to monitor progress, address issues, and support collaboration
* Work closely with the Retrofit Coordination team to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery
* Collaborate with the Contractor Compliance team to ensure all sub-contractors meet required compliance standards, including certification, insurance, and legislative requirements
* Support sub-contractor onboarding and training to ensure alignment with HESL’s expectations and standards
* Monitor sub-contractor performance against agreed project timelines and KPIs, providing regular updates to senior management
* Identify and escalate risks or performance issues, contributing to continuous improvement efforts
We’re Looking For Someone who:
* Has experience managing sub-contractors or supply chains in construction, energy, or retrofit
* A working knowledge of PAS 2030, BSI, and relevant legislation
* Has a strong understanding of health and safety in construction
* Is an effective problem-solver, organised, with strong communication skills
* Is proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
* Has experience with retrofit grant funded projects, retrofit coordination, or social housing providers (desirable)
* Holds the NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
