A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Social Care Officer posts to work within the Older People and Physical Disabilities social work team.
Do you have experience of working directly with adults in a social care environment?
As a Social Care Officer you will need to provide person centred, strength-based assessments and care plans which focus on maintaining independence. Under the guidance and supervision of a qualified social worker you will be responsible for managing a caseload, undertaking statutory interventions and providing long term support to older people and adults with a physical disability.
We are looking for someone with core social work values including empathy, compassion and a desire to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable adults.
Our social care officer opportunities offer a stepping stone into adult social work so we are looking for someone with an interest in this. In return the role offers excellent development and progression opportunities. as this role involves working with adults in their own homes and other community settings you will be required to be able to transport around North Lincolnshire.
You will need to be able to work autonomously and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. You will need to have effective communication and organisation skills as well as the skills in negotiation and use of IT systems and the ability to work under pressure.
