Role: Project Delivery Engineer
Duration: 12-18 months
Start date: ASAP.
Rate: £575 per day (OUTSIDE OR IR35)
Hours per week: 37
Location: 80% EFH/20% Site

Introduction
The Project Delivery Engineer (Capital Delivery ) is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of capital projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to required specifications. The role oversees full project lifecycles, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills will help deliver critical infrastructure that supports millions of customers
Key responsibilities:
Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring effective contractor performance.
Producing regular project performance reports, leading stakeholder engagement
Driving strong safety culture and continuous improvement across delivery.

Experience required:
Significant experience in engineering or infrastructure project delivery, ideally within the gas sector.
Have 5 plus years’ relevant experience, strong knowledge of contract and risk management, and a solid understanding of health & safety regulations and engineering standards.
A relevant engineering qualification (e.g. Degree/HNC/NVQ) and project management knowledge (e.g. APM Foundation) are also expected.
A background in either OR E&I, Security enhancements/upgrades/Gas sector.
