Job Title:Property Legal Administrator

Based:Ringwood, Hampshire BH24 3FA

Package:Competitive Salary & Company benefits, 37 hours per week

Due to the success and growth at Churchill Estates Management, we are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity within our Property Transfer team.

This role would suit an experienced Property Legal Administrator, who has experience in the legalities of conveyancing, buying and selling and keen to transfer these skills to the retirement property market and other aspects of property such as land registry and sub-letting whilst enhancing their administration skills.

About the role

Reporting to the Legal Administration Supervisor, the Property Legal Administrator will join a small, dedicated and motivated team to help deliver excellent administration in a timely and effective manner to support the buying, selling and sub-letting of retirement apartments within the Churchill Estates portfolio.

The role deals with all aspects of administration relating to property sales, transfers and rentals. This will include dealing with solicitors, internal stakeholders, homeowners and their families, Land Registry and more.You will liaise with people at all levels using various communication methods in a diligent and professional manner to provide a first-class customer service at all touchpoints.

In addition, you will support the legal administration team as we develop our IT and internal systems to improve automation and workflows.

In this role you are encouraged to remain up to date in current and new legislation relevant to ARMA, AIRPM and RICS, with ongoing training and support provided.

You will liaise with Group Finance on the HTBR mortgage product Including issuing redemption and annual statements, Anti Money Laundering, proof of funds checks ,Change of circumstance communications and interest calculations.

Based in Ringwood, the hours of work are 09:00-17:30 Monday to Thursday and 09:00-17:00 on Friday.

About you

This is an excellent opportunity for an Administrator or Senior Administrator to develop their knowledge and experience in this field of expertise. You’ll demonstrate a passion and interest in all things ‘property’ with proven administration and systems experience.

It would be advantageous to have a background in estate agency, mortgages, lettings, legal administration or similar.

1. You’ll be an organised individual with excellent communication skills and a great eye for detail.
2. You must be a team-player, flexible in your approach to work, with a willingness to observe, listen and learn, ready to take on new tasks and responsibilities within the team.
3. You will work in a timely and efficient manner, managing a number of tasks simultaneously with the ability to prioritise workload.
4. Your standard of English language and numeracy skills will be to a minimum of GCSE Level C / 5 and your experience of using MS Office applications, including Excel, ideally to intermediate level, is essential.
