We’re looking for a Hospitality General Assistant to join our vibrant University Hospitality team. From serving great food and drinks with a smile, to keeping our spaces welcoming and running smoothly, you’ll help us deliver top-quality service to students, staff, and visitors every day.
Responsibilities
* Serving food and drinks while giving customers a great experience.
* Using tills and handling payments, including opening and closing procedures.
* Keeping outlets and kitchens clean, safe, and up to high standards.
* Restocking and receiving deliveries, making sure everything’s stored properly.
* Recording food temperatures, cleaning checks, and other quick admin tasks.
* Pitching in with events, conferences, and other Hospitality services across campus.
* Working flexibly as part of a team to get the job done.
What we’re looking for
* A friendly, positive attitude and a genuine enjoyment of customer service.
* Team players who are reliable, adaptable, and up for learning new skills.
* Good communication skills and confidence to chat with customers.
* Pride in presentation, cleanliness, and doing things well.
* Awareness of (or willingness to learn) food safety and health & safety basics.
