Key Responsibilities
* Administer, monitor, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
* Design, deploy, and manage SQL workloads on Microsoft Azure
* Manage and support virtualized environments using Hyper-V
* Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions using Veeam
* Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and query optimization
* Manage HA/DR solutions (Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Azure SQL MI)
* Ensure security, compliance, and access controls
* Automate DBA and infrastructure tasks using PowerShell and T-SQL
* Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams
* Support on-prem to Azure migrations and hybrid cloud architectures
☁️ Required Skills & Experience
* Strong hands-on experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA
* Solid infrastructure background, including:
* Windows Server administration
* Hyper-V virtualization
* Networking and storage concepts
* Proven experience with Azure Cloud, including:
* Azure SQL (IaaS & PaaS)
* Azure Virtual Machines
* Azure Storage, Backup, and Monitoring
* Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication
* Expertise in performance tuning, indexing, and troubleshooting
* Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, T-SQL)

* Experience with Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines
* Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
* SQL Server, Azure, or Veeam certifications
* Experience supporting hybrid environments
