About the role
Our Support Technicians work on-site with a diverse range of customers, from small local businesses to large FTSE 100 companies. Your responsibilities include provisioning, repairing hardware, software, or infrastructure, and supporting complex customer needs. You will be traveling to customer sites daily to assist with installations, repairs, and to optimize services.
You will interact directly with customers, explaining ideas and problems related to BT's portfolio, and may recommend or sell new digital products and services. We provide comprehensive training, so technical expertise is not mandatory—just a proactive attitude and good communication skills.
About the apprenticeship
This 18-month apprenticeship involves 20% study time, leading to a Level 3 qualification in Information Communication. You will gain hands-on experience and study for a nationally recognized qualification.
Entry Requirements
* Five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above), including English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.
* A full manual driving licence with no more than six points is required, as the role involves travel.
* Applicants without a licence must pass their test at least one month before the start date.
* Some roles may require security clearance.
* If you have already completed a Level 3 qualification in Information Communication, you may not be eligible.
* Must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship.
