We are looking for a Lead UX/UI Designer with strong experience in both discovery and delivery of customer-facing digital products. In this role you’ll be working closely with product owners, developers, and other designers to design intuitive, engaging, and accessible app experiences.
You’ll play a central role in the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI design. You’ll facilitate workshops, collaborate with the wider UX team, and connect with the centralised design system team to ensure scalable, consistent, and native-first solutions.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in complex product environments, loves combining user insights with strong visual design practices, and can communicate ideas clearly to both design and non-design stakeholders.
Requirements
How you’ll make an impact
1. Deliver intuitive, engaging, and accessible app UI using an existing design system
2. Lead and deliver the end-to-end design process, choosing and applying the right research methodologies to solve product challenges
3. Facilitate ideation workshops with cross-functional teams
4. Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
5. Design and optimise human-centred interfaces and user journeys, balancing research insights with strong visual/UI execution
6. Translate business ideas and requirements into impactful digital experiences
7. Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other designers to find creative solutions to complex problems
8. Communicate design concepts and user insights through clear, compelling narratives adapted to different audiences
9. Collaborate with the UX team for design feedback and knowledge sharing
10. Work with the centralised design system team to ensure consistency, while leveraging native device strengths
You rock at
11. Proven track record as a Senior/Lead Designer with app design experience
12. Experience running end-to-end design processes across discovery and delivery phases
13. Strong expertise in UX research, human-centred design, and design systems
14. Proficiency in Figma and standard design collaboration tools
15. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, especially with cross-functional stakeholders
16. Balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution (research, workshops, UI design)
You are good at
17. Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
18. Accessibility standards (WCAG)
19. Creating clear and scalable design documentation
20. Working both autonomously and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
21. Staying up to date with UI/UX trends and best practices
What you will be doing
22. Leading discovery and delivery design activities for customer-facing app products
23. Driving ideation sessions and workshops to co-create solutions with teams
24. Producing wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs
25. Ensuring solutions are user-centric, accessible, and visually consistent
26. Aligning closely with the design system team to contribute and evolve shared components
27. Communicating insights and solutions effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
28. Helping to shape a design culture of collaboration, feedback, and innovation
