We are seeking a skilled and proactive People Partner (HR Business Partner) to join our dynamic team. This part-time position and we are happy to look to accommodate school hours, or other part time work patterns, making it ideal for professionals seeking a work-life balance. (Around 25-28 hours a week)
The role will require a solid understanding of employment law and best HR practices, with a good understanding of Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE).
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide expert HR guidance to partners and department heads, ensuring alignment of people policies and process with business objectives.
2. Employee Relations: Advise managers and staff on all aspects of employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and absence management.
3. Policy & Compliance: Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with current UK employment law, including GDPR requirements.
4. Change Management & TUPE: Support the firm through organisational change, mergers, or acquisitions, supporting TUPE transfers and ensuring employees rights are protected throughout the process.
