Job Title: Internal Sales Representative – Engineering and Industrial Plastic Materials

Position Overview
My Client is seeking a knowledgeable and customer focused Internal Sales Representative to join the team, specialising in the sale of technical plastic materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plastic products (or be from a technical product sales background), have excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
The role involves providing technical product support, preparing quotations, and ensuring customer satisfaction from order placement to delivery and comes with full training.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential clients regarding technical plastic materials.
* Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products based on technical specifications.
* Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers, including specifications, applications, and advantages.
* Prepare and send detailed quotations and proposals.
* Collaborate with other team members and externally based colleagues.
* Maintain and develop strong customer relationships to promote repeat business.
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and new product developments.
* Document customer interactions and sales activities accurately in the CRM system.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in Plastics, Polymers, or related other technical materials such as Metals, Composites etc
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to understand and explain technical specifications and product benefits.
* Proficiency with ERP systems and a diligent approach to maintaining CRM records.
* Demonstrable sales experience in a technical market.
