Rate of Pay: £23.24 - £29.00 per Hour
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Review Officer with a strong background in housing law, particularly regarding the Housing Act 1996 (Parts 6 and 7). This is a remote role with occasional office attendance required. An immediate start is essential due to the urgent nature of this position.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake statutory reviews under Part 6 and Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996.
* Conduct complex housing investigations and provide legally robust decisions.
* Liaise effectively with solicitors, legal representatives, and other stakeholders.
* Work independently and manage a personal caseload efficiently.
* Ensure decisions are well-documented, legally sound, and delivered within set timeframes.
Essentials:
* In-depth knowledge of the Housing Act 1996 and relevant case law.
* Proven experience in conducting housing reviews and writing detailed legal decisions.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage complex cases from start to finish.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially when dealing with legal representatives.
* Legal, housing, or public sector qualification or relevant experience is highly desirable.
