Support Worker
Location: Caerphilly
Pay Rate: £–£ per hour
Are you a compassionate, reliable Support Worker looking for flexible agency work with a trusted care and support provider? We’re recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our team, supporting adults with a variety of care needs in Caerphilly.
If you have a minimum of 6 months UK care and support experience and hold the All Wales Manual Handling Passport, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
5. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, using a person-centred approach to ensure their needs are met
6. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
7. Help clients maintain their independence and well-being by supporting them in community activities and appointments
8. Safely assist clients with mobility using Moving & Handling techniques, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times
9. Support individuals who may display challenging behaviour, responding calmly and effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment
10. Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfilment
What We’re Looking For
11. All Wales Manual Handling Passport – Essential
12. Minimum 6 months UK-based care/support experience
13. A caring, patient and professional attitude
14. Reliability and excellent communication skills
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Flexibility to work various shifts
