Your responsibilities
As our Area Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of actively promoting our innovative products for upper and lower extremities. You'll be responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening our presence in the North West including Liverpool, Cheshire, and Wales.
Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
1. Take full responsibility for meeting and surpassing territory sales targets and growth across the orthopaedic market.
2. Proactively identify and develop new accounts within orthopaedic trauma and elective foot surgery.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships within allocated accounts, nurturing and developing key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the territory.
4. Proactively manage and support our existing, expansive customer base, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders.
5. Develop a deep understanding of the non-clinical customer base, particularly within procurement.
6. Attend local, national, and occasionally international courses and congresses to stay abreast of industry developments and expand your network.
Your qualifications
We're seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of success in sales, ideally within the orthopaedic market.
1. Sales Expertise: Experience in selling, with a consistent history of achieving sales targets and a clear focus on return on investment.
2. Orthopaedic Knowledge: Detailed knowledge and understanding of the NHS environment, the private sector, and the orthopaedic market.
3. Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation abilities for both individuals and groups.
4. Analytical Acumen: Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing account data with a focus on return on investment.
5. IT Literacy: A good level of IT literacy.
6. Personal Attributes: A positive, enthusiastic, results-driven, and self-motivated individual.
