Achieve your ambitions - join us at JLL Role Purpose An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cost & Commercial Manager to join JLL's Work Dynamics business working on several European public service contracts. This is for a commercial professional who is seeking a role which involves the primary responsibility for the oversight of contracts. The role will suit someone who is either: Seeking their first commission as a responsible commercial manager, but is technically competent in the full range of commercial activities / analysis; or An established commercial manager who is looking for a role change. The role is for an individual contributor and will report into the commercial director for public sector facilities management contracts. What this job involves Contract Management Act as the subject matter expert for the contract and provide written advice on commercial terms; Compile variations to contract as part of the administration of the scope of the head contract; Preparation of contracts, contract documentation and correspondence as required as part of contracting arrangements in the head contract and subcontracts; Provision of contractual compliance reviews to ensure service delivery meets contract requirements, including corrective action advice; and Structuring contracts for the delivery of FM project works (milestones, KPIs, etc). Commercial Management Review of invoices submitted by the supply chain to assess value for money; Quantification of variation entitlements as part of variation process, to include the control of cost planning for any changes to contract; Cost value reconciliation of FM project works and cash controls; and Support in the budgeting process with analysis of expected cost to complete FM work. Risk and Opportunity Management Chair a monthly risk and opportunity review meeting with the client / representatives; Chair an internal monthly risk and opportunity review meeting and administer the process; Manage the risk and opportunity register; and Report on all cost efficiency and savings proposals Client Management Primary commercial point of contact with the client / representatives; Support scoping of new client requirements and deal structuring; and Management of "early warnings" and dispute management. Other Responsibilities Provision of cost value reconciliation reports to the commercial director; Provision of supply chain analysis, where procurement activities are undertaken; Support in the agreement of key performance indicators as part of the client monthly reporting cycle; Preparation of internal commercial reports and presentations; Ad hoc support with business development opportunities; and Review of further opportunities to cross sell JLL services and seeks to drive additional revenue opportunities. At least an undergraduate degree in either: business administration, law, quantity surveying, engineering or facilities management. In possession of or currently pursuing membership of the: Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors; Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management; International Facility Management Association; World Commerce & Contracting (previously IACCM); or Relevant local equivalent Fluent in English language. Ability to work on their own initiative as well as in an advisory function to the overall team. The following skills and experience are desirable for this role: Experience in public sector contracting. Experience in facilities management of government facilities. Proficiency in financial analysis and costing. Proficiency in legal analysis and interpretation.
