Location; 15 Dukestown Lane, BT66 8TB, Lurgan Hours of work:20:00-08:00 We operate on a 2-week rotating shift pattern: Job role 1: Week 1: Sunday Wednesday (4 days) Week 2: Sunday Tuesday (3 days) The Role We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Despatch Supervisor to lead a 12-hour operation within our fast paced FMCG distribution centre. This critical role is responsible for overseeing the end to end pick and despatch process, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently and in full compliance with company policies and quality standards. What you will do; Supervise and coordinate all daily activities of team members across despatch operations. Foster a positive and inclusive working environment, empowering team members to perform at their best. Support the training, onboarding, and ongoing development of staff to maintain high standards of performance and compliance. Ensure accurate and timely picking of orders and loading of vehicles using handheld scanning devices. Monitor team performance and productivity, proactively identifying and addressing any issues to ensure KPIs and service levels are consistently met. Lead daily team briefings to review KPIs, address challenges and successes, and align on the priorities for the upcoming shift. Work collaboratively with other Senior Despatch Supervisors to ensure clear and effective shift handovers. Communicate regularly and effectively with key departments including Logistics, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Production to ensure smooth end-to-end operations. Ensure all documentation and records meet traceability, food safety, and company compliance requirements to be audit ready at all times. Essential Criteria Experience within FMCG environment 2 years of People Management experience Experience of stock control Experience working to tight deadlines IT Literate (e.g. word, excel etc.) Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Previous experience with HACCP or qualification within this area Desirable Third level qualification Knowledge of food processing preferably gained within a FMCG environment AX and/or Zetas (or similar) system experience To read our full job description please view our company website Why choose us?
