Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and organised Production Coordinator to join our small, dedicated team. This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth running of manufacturing operations ensuring production is cost-effective, meets quality specifications, and that goods are delivered to customers on time. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a robust production schedule to meet customer demand and optimise manufacturing efficiency. Ensure labour and material requirements are met; communicate any shortages promptly. Evaluate raw materials and bill of materials to confirm readiness for production. Track and report the progress of goods in manufacture, ensuring deadlines are met and any issues are communicated across departments. Monitor supplier and production performance, identifying and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and planning accuracy. Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust plans to maintain production flow. Generate and distribute KPI reports, analysing performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Support process optimisation and cost-reduction activities across production and logistics. About You: Previous experience in a production planning or coordination role within a manufacturing environment. Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Confident using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to liaise effectively with multiple departments. Highly organised, with attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities. A proactive team player with the flexibility to thrive in a small-company environment.
