Job Summary
Are you interested in joining our team of Haemodialysis nurses? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our nurse-led haemodialysis unit. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional nurse to deliver compassionate person-centred care, and treat patients, service users, their families and carers with consideration, dignity and the respect you would want for yourself or your family. The successful candidate should have a genuine passion for meeting patient needs and be able to work flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team. Experience in Renal Nursing, strong communication and IT skills, and the ability to liaise effectively across all haemodialysis units are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide managerial and leadership support to the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse and nursing team to deliver continually improved standards and efficient use of resources.
* Be professionally accountable and maintain standards of professional practice as set by the relevant regulatory body.
* Deliver compassionate, person-centred care to patients and their families and carers.
* Support and deputise for the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse to maintain standards of professional practice; utilise clinical proficiency to deliver high-quality nursing care.
* Contribute to service development, writing and reviewing policies and practices to ensure evidence-based practice.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Current NMC registration
* Degree level education
* Experience in renal nursing and haemodialysis
* Evidence of professional updating in the last 12 months
Desirable
* Health Assessment course or willingness to undertake within two years
* Non-medical prescribing course or willingness to undertake within two years
