We are looking for a driven Process Technician to join a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK based in Bridgwater (TA6).
- Salary £36,271.07 pa (Basic £32,973.70 with a shift allowance of £3,297.37)
- 4 on 4 off Shift pattern – 2 Days, 2 Nights 4 days off
- 12 Hour shifts – Day: 06:30 to 18:30 or 07:00 to 19:00 / Night: 18:30 to 06:30 or 19:00 – 07:00

As a Process Technician, you will play a vital role in creating the products that reach consumers every day. Working at the heart of the manufacturing operation, you will prepare and blend juices, smoothies, and other beverages to precise recipes and quality standards.
This hands‑on role requires a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay one step ahead of production demands. You will take ownership of your area, ensuring ingredients are accurately prepared, quality checks are completed, and production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in producing high‑quality products, and thrives in a fast‑paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
Process Technician: Key responsibilities
- Prepare, weigh, and mix ingredients in line with approved recipes and production schedules.
- Operate processing and blending equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out quality checks throughout the process to ensure products meet specification.
- Monitor production processes and identify any issues before they impact operations.
- Handle raw materials, ingredients, and drums safely, including regular manual handling activities.
- Perform lifting duties of up to 25kg as part of the day‑to‑day operation.
- Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and health & safety.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Take ownership of your area, ensuring it remains organised, compliant, and ready for the next stage of the manufacturing process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support operational efficiency across the site.
