Maintenance Scheduler Location: Salford Pay Rate: £12.73 - £14.27 per hour Contract: Temporary - 4 months initially (with a view to extend) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Work Type: Office-based Benefits: Free on-site car parking We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing and property services organisation based in Salford. They are seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to support their responsive repairs and maintenance team on a temporary basis. The Role This is a busy, office-based position where you will be responsible for scheduling maintenance and repair works, liaising with tenants and contractors, and ensuring jobs are planned efficiently. Key Responsibilities Scheduling and planning maintenance and repair appointments Contacting tenants to arrange and confirm access Liaising with contractors to allocate work and manage diaries Handling customer service enquiries via telephone Updating systems with accurate job and scheduling information The Ideal Candidate Previous customer service experience is essential Planning or scheduling experience is desirable Confident communicator with strong telephone skills Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks Previous experience within housing, property or maintenance environments is advantageous This role is ideal for candidates with strong coordination and customer service skills looking for a temporary opportunity within housing or property services.
