Huntingdon Town Council is looking for a Caretaker/Cleaner based at the Coneygear Centre to help keep the building clean, safe, and welcoming for the community.
This hands-on role focuses on maintaining high cleaning standards at the Coneygear Centre, with flexibility to clean either before groups arrive in the morning, or after the building closes, with weekday closing usually after 8pm. The postholder will be responsible for alarming the building every weekday evening and will also provide regular cleaning support at Huntingdon Town Hall. Flexibility is essential, and based on the operational needs of the centre.
You'll take pride in creating a welcoming, well-presented space for all who use the centre, and be comfortable working independently as part of a supportive wider team.
What we offer:
£13.26 per hour
30 hours per week, including opening and closing duties and 1 weekend in every 3 as part of the rota
