This is an exciting and essential role at the heart of our operation, playing a key part in delivering a seamless service to our customers. Working hours 6am-6pm on a 4 on 4 off rota as the Inspection Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the full end-to-end inspection workflow,from trailer off load, through product presentation for inspection, to accurate and timely reload. Youll ensure that daily operations run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. A major part of this role is maintaining a clean, compliant, and well-organised working environment that meets all relevant health and hygiene regulations. You will also champion a strong health and safety culture, driving best practice and fostering a positive, safe workplace for all. How you create impact Perform essential administrative tasks to support the smooth and efficient running of operational teams and processes. Safely load and unload trailers, including manual handling, operation of roller cages, and use of appropriate MHE. Ensure all client products are handled correctly at every stage within the facility, fully adhering to manual handling procedures and health and safety legislation. Complete required reportingboth manual and electronicaccurately and in line with operational expectations. Collaborate effectively with on-site partners to support and enhance the inspection process. Update the PINC Yard Management System accurately following appropriate training. Execute operational tasks to help achieve departmental and site-wide performance objectives. Maintain a clean, compliant, and well-organised inspection environment following training and guidelines. Demonstrate awareness of COSHH requirements and apply safe working practices after training. Engage fully in training and development activities to build skills and support ongoing professional growth. Actively champion a positive health and safety culture across the operation. What we would like you to bring Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices, with the ability to lead by example and drive a safe working culture. Proven experience working to agreed targets and delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring consistent and compliant operational performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate others and keep the customer at the centre of decision-making. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Flexible approach to working hours, including supporting holiday and absence cover when required. Confident user of warehouse systems with intermediate PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). Demonstrates accountability and professionalism, setting a positive example to team members at all times.
