We are seeking a Clinical Chair to join our Clinical Senior Management team. This is a part-time role requiring 2 hours per week with flexible shift coverage.
Duties include:
1. Collaborate with executive and clinical leaders to foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
2. Ensure hospital priorities incorporate quality and safety standards.
3. Lead and support the medical and clinical workforce.
4. Develop and maintain robust clinical governance systems in line with group frameworks.
5. Provide assurance on clinical safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness, and leadership.
6. Oversee medical governance, performance, and appraisal processes.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Consultant medical practitioner with full GMC registration, current license, and on the specialist register.
2. Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills.
3. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
4. Deep understanding of clinical governance and healthcare regulation.
5. Commitment to quality and safety improvements.
6. Ability to inspire and develop the medical workforce.
