Operations Manager, 32K. Adventure Tour Operator are looking for a new Operations Manager to manage the operations of their tours. This an award-winning company with an excellent reputation and a very exciting product portfolio.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
* Manage the operations of adventure tours
* Negotiate with ground-handlers to contract various services for tours
* Handle operational and crisis issues if they occur.
* Liaison with partners at destinations confirming allocations and booking services
* Creation of all client’s literature and support with visa processes
* Maintenance of safety and quality standards
* Prepare and support Tour Leaders
* Provide DMC’s with post tour feedback
* Help to develop touring programme
* Collaborate with the sales and product teams.
* Have responsibility of the emergency phone on a rota basis
* Work with the Sustainability Manager to manage carbon footprints and to source social and environmental projects
Operations Manager Experience Required:
* Experience in experiential tour operations
* Preference to candidates with experience in logistics and operations, however candidates from rounded tailormade travel sales roles may be considered dependent on experience
* Personal global travel experience - enormously beneficial
Operations Manager Additional Info:
* Mon – Fri, 9 – 5.30pm
* 25 days annual leave per year
* 2 - 4 office days per month – London
* Emergency phone 8-10 weeks of the year.
* Volunteering days on full pay
