About the role:
Are you a primary care Nurse passionate about delivering high-quality care to improve patient outcomes in line with national guidelines?
This role involves working in the field of Diabetes, supporting healthcare professionals and patients to make informed treatment decisions. You will work closely with the NHS in primary care to deliver a nursing programme focused on best practice, excellent patient care, and improved outcomes.
As a specialist nurse advisor with a strong understanding of national treatment guidelines, you will collaborate with patients and practices to ensure the delivery of up-to-date care.
Candidate profile:
* Patient-focused NMC registered nurse with experience in Diabetes
* Previous nurse advisory experience is desirable
* Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to deliver excellent results with a patient focus
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Confident driving and geographical knowledge

Qualifications:
* Diabetes Diploma or equivalent
* Full UK Driving Licence
Experience required:
* Minimum of 3 years managing diabetes in primary care
* Knowledgeable in education, support, and advice for Type 2 Diabetes
* Skills in optimizing oral hypoglycaemics
* IT literacy, including primary care systems
