Overview
Skelmersdale Police Station is looking for a Cleaning Operative to work part‑time (10.5 hours per week). The role is contracted, with a salary of £12.60 per hour (full‑time equivalent pro‑rata).
Key Responsibilities
* General cleaning of police premises, including damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, toilet and washroom cleaning.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness in line with police facility requirements.
* Cover for sickness, holidays or additional service demands as required.
Requirements
* Full UK residency of at least three years (required for Police Vetting).
* Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
* Successful completion of Police Vetting.
* Ability to travel to the work address: Southway, Skelmersdale, WN8 6NH.
Work Hours & Schedule
Monday to Friday: 10.5 hours total per week.
Monday 06:00–08:30, Tuesday to Friday 06:00–08:00.
