SEN / SEND Tutor, Berkshire
Join Targeted Provision in providing tutoring to children and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and other additional educational needs. The role is ideal for qualified SEN / SEND teachers eager to work one-to-one and support learners in a flexible, trauma‑informed manner.

The Role
* Provide Maths, English or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD or other additional needs referred to Targeted Provision.
* Support learners referred by local authorities and schools through holistic, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring.
* Work flexibly to meet each learner’s educational and social‑emotional journey.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Plan each session of teaching, tutoring or mentoring.
* Deliver holistic and engaging sessions that advance the learner’s educational and social‑emotional journey.
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress.
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (supported at cost if required)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK; based in the UK for remote/online assignments

Employment Status
* Worker – short‑term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service, paid via PAYE
* No set hours or expenses coverage
* Insurance is provided by Targeted Provision
* Not a self‑employed tutoring position
